This week has been
quite the intense one! We have been finding like crazy. there are so many
prepared people out here that the members are not working hard enough to keep
up with us. We are blowing missionary work out of the water! Soooo many
miracles.
We have been
working with an investigator Cassandra and her sister Shay, they are both very
awesome people. They are striving for their baptisms next month and it is
really awesome!
We have walked on
average over 5 miles a day, we also purchased bus passes to travel around the
area. since we only have part time car. (having no car is super difficult). We
get home and we are wiped out! and it is really hard when our recent converts
call and are all upset asking us to go to court and defend their dog. :P So the Sweat is
for us walking and dying all week long working our tails off. N' the Bullets are
from our Recent Convert whose pit bull
got shot in their back yard. it was a long week of them being angry at us. it
is just a messy situation.
But for my thought
for this week it stems from the song called "The Loneliest Walk of His
Life" by David Osmond. Listen to the song.
Through this song
it is constantly talking about the atonement and how sometimes we feel like we
are all alone and that it is nearly impossible to keep going. But we keep going
because we are being carried by that knowledge that there is another who has
suffered greater than us and is walking the same path. Our Savior takes those
steps with us as we walk through loneliness, sorrow, pain and anguish. He is
there to help us when our belief is falling. He is our brother and our Savior.
Love,
Sister
